Earlier today, we published the House of Wolves prologue. We hope you’ve enjoyed it. We know many of you are craving more details. Over the course of the next month, we’ll be revealing exactly what you’ll find in House of Wolves this May. Much like our recent rounds of live update news, we plan on sharing many of the most important details with you right here on Bungie.net.
House of Wolves will not have a Raid activity. We didn't make this decision lightly. Our team has been humbled by the reception of Raids in Destiny and we are creating a new Raid for a release later this year. House of Wolves will have a new cooperative end game activity focused on variety, replayability, and skill – a new battle Arena called The Prison of Elders.
Below, you’ll find the currently planned calendar of events for House of Wolves news. Next week we’ll be kicking things off by revealing the upgrade path for your existing Exotic and Legendary gear. We know this is an important subject for you. After, we'll detail out Trials of Osiris and Prison of Elders, both brand new additions to Destiny's end game activities.

Walking tour of the The Reef, with a live discussion about the upgrade paths for your gear.
Wednesday, April 29th
Reveal and live gameplay of Trials of Osiris and its collection of end game gear.
Wednesday, May 6th
Reveal and live gameplay of Prison of Elders, a brand new three-player cooperative multiplayer arena.
Friday, May 8th

The Trial of Osiris armor looks dope.
I'm thinking instead of the raid it will be some kind of Horde mode. Wonder why they limited it to 3 people tho

still its a cop out if you ask me... id rather a raid that forces all 3 people to earn their keep like the original vog when everyone was still 27-28..
im still excited dont get me wrong and id rather a horde mode over another raid like crota's end which was a huge step down... but 3 people eliminates any chance ur going to require high level coordination or splitting up into 2 seperate teams... which is wat made vog so cool.

Not having a Raid in this Expansion is a travesty considering how little new content we are going to receive......
Yeah I completely understand that. I actually have somewhat of an opposite sentiment. I like the idea of needing 3 elite level guardians. The idea of splitting up a team of 3 is still a possibility. We simply don't know enough yet to be all that disappointed.
Can someone break down the difference between a Raid and Entering an Arena? Are both not objective based?
My pack out is on the 19th of May. I won't be settled in Japan til mid July 
won't be too negative about it until all the details are out. I can find 2 other solid cats for crucible so I ain't worried about the possibilities of Trials of Osiris. and a co-op arena sounds like a nightfall and the leaked images showed the same so its whatever too. I got all my weapons leveled so I'm set

I'll be polishing my skills in the crucible on the daily and leveling up a few things. Trials should be a cake walk, I know there are at least 2 or 3 X1 guys on here that consistently get close to 2.0 KDRs and above
