I didn't try to get it again. I'm assuming you can't get it multiple times though, cause people would just keep doing it.

I saw some people on my friends list early in the morning in the new Raid with 3 people and I figured this is what they were doing. Dude did this with all 3 of his characters too.

its always shards or energy... but the way i see it there arent really that many amazing drops other than the sniper and the actual armor... which will need radiant material and if u can only get about 6-8 per raid... it will be very important...

i got the chest piece my first run... just need to get the gauntlets and boots and i need that glasshouse helm for my pve build... and ill be 32...

yeah its super rare tho... did it with 2 different groups and every single person had shards/energies from that chest...

but ya i have read it be said explicitly that u can get an exotic even from it... so definitely worth doing right now before u do any of the IB bounties etc...

its pretty much a double xp week with IB so im trying to do the nightfall and raid real early to have my new shyt to level up

I already got to Level 5 in the OG Iron Banner, so I don't think I'm a OD on it this time. I honestly only need the Boots from there, because I have Gauntlets on deck when Xur shows up from the Crota Missions. I already have all the shaders and the class item and the old arm and leg armor from the IB.

I'll get to Level 3 and think about coppin' the boots again. Thing is, they're like 10K in Glimmer which is a grip...

yeah the only thing that i need is the boots as well... they have extra ammo for auto rifle... and as i used 'up for anything' on crota with the extended range and it kept on running out of ammo...

i wonder if there will be a reward for level 5 next time they do it

I'm almost done with the Invective One, so I'll do that one, but I really wasn't about to go and do 25 Strikes again for the Bad Ju Ju which I have maxed out already, and Xur could be offering that as an upgrade anyway like he did for the Thorn.

I tossed the Thorn Bounty in the bushes because I already traded in my old one for the new one that was available. I'm set with my newer guns and the upgraded damage model. I'm mainly thinking I tweaked not just buying that Hunter Helm (to get the 4 GG shots) and trading in my other one for the Arc Blade ability... I never used that one, but after running the first part of the new Raid it's become apparent to me that the Blade Dancer ability will be of much more use in this one than the VoG

i copped the upgraded helm that gives you 4 shots, but i missed out on copping that upgraded third eye helm, didnt have enough glimmer cause i copped shyt for my titan and warlock....it's cool, i'm cop it next time he comes....till then, i'll just use the current one i got, got it maxed...

also, since he gonna be rotating the exotics you can upgrade weekly, i'm wait on doing those new bounties...

If you were unfortunate enough to commit to Destiny to an extent that you play all three classes and collected all the exotics, upgrading them all to the new baseline will cost 266 Strange Coins and 266,000 glimmer.

If you do the hardest weekly heroic strike on three characters, you get 27 strange coins per week, and the cap on the amount of glimmer you can carry at once is 25,000. So you'll have to do 10 weeks of strikes on three characters, and farm glimmer for about 12 hours, just to erase all your progress on your collection of pre-expansion exotics.

Once these items are upgraded, you'll have to complete roughly 1,200 bounties to get all the experience necessary to re-level everything. I assume you will get experience for one equipped armor and one equipped weapon simultaneously. You'll also need to collect about 3,000 destination materials, and another 200,000 glimmer to buy all the upgrades again. And spend another 266 Strange Coins to obtain 38 exotic shards for all the final upgrades.

And I hope you enjoy doing this, because presumably, this entire process will start over when the House of Wolves expansion launches next year. This is your endgame.

people complaining about the time you gotta put in need to stop...no one is forcing them to do it, they are chosing to...you dont have to max out everything to enjoy the game nor be competitive in the game....but if you like me, you want to just cause....in that case, you know you gonna have to put in time, so no point in complaining about a choice you made....

Trying to upgrade my legendary armor, need Xur so I can get the exotic shard to full max out my chest. Want to hit 30 so bad..

Iron Banner's up... Previous Rep reset and the only gear they have in there for you are Gauntlets and Boots. They go up to 33 Light now, but they look the exact same.

Also for the Raid, can you get the first chest by yourself? Group I ran it with over weekend didn't know about the 1st Chest... if I can just run and get it on my own I do it.

i'm not going hard in the ib like i did before....i'll probably barely play it this time around....the gear is nice from it, but i can get just as good if not better gear from the vanguard/crucible vendors and it wont cost me 10k....i just want the weapons, but i didnt get any last time it was here....and that was after getting all 3 characters to level 3 or higher in in....

tried it solo like 7 times just now and theres nothing in there. there was a hotfix when I logged in so that might be why

Edit: its the second door, dude just said run til you see a door, but if you go straight left and follow the wall theres an empty room, then a room further up a hill. got 2 radiant shards
