yeah luckily i got the crucible helmet in my commendation pack... and i was able to buy the gloves and legs with the marks i had saved and earned yesterday... so i got full lvl 31 armor already, all crucible marks will go towards materials

unfortunately i really fukked up tho and leveled up my vanguard by accident the night before the dlc, smh

I wish they would let us convert motes of light...Do these things have any use at all aside from exotic engrams and buying frilly little nothings from "the speaker"? I have about 40 of them they should be more important than they are.

It's easier to level up now than it was when the game dropped.

The key is getting Armor with Light and upgrading it. The Crucible is a good way to level up gear that you have on and the guns you're using to get kills in there. You turn in the Crucible Bounties and it can level up quick... the problem though, you'll always need to go and get the materials needed to upgrade each piece of armro you have and every gun that you have.

So it's a yes and no to that answer. You'll unlock the upgrades in your armor playing a lot of Crucible overtime, but you'll still need to go out and farm materials to use the upgrades you unlock

You can buy the materials now for glimmer. No more farming

I solo'd it last night

just make sure to keep your back towards that room where the dude teleports to, like that they have to funnel up those stairs to get you but you still have to be careful of those flying dudes. It took me like 4-5 tries.

There are no silenced weapons, but they aren't really needed in this game.

If you are expecting a COD type of experience you will be disappointed. This is more of a Halo meets Borderlands mash up. That being said, I think it is well done and addictive.
The drive to get new, better loot and upgrade that loot, be it guns or armor is what keeps you going.

The PvP is a lot of fun with some good game modes, though lacking a CTF type mode and while the overall storyline sucks, the PvE content is pretty good and challenging too.

That second mission is brutal, no way you can do that solo on lvl 30.

i did, as a 29....just gotta stick, move, and use cover....and take out those damn wizards first....cause when the game brings the flutes (wizards) out, that shyt gets real lol.....

also, doesnt hurt to have a maxed out ghorn and vision that put in work.....when i'm in trouble, i call on ghorn like he silver and i'm the lone ranger lol....

not true... my cousins cac friend did it... he got all the way to the boss... and then i joined just to get the completion... i didnt do damage to anything...

but i did revive him twice... but essentially he did do it solo.

but im saying tho... if he could do it that far and get the boss down to half HP???

then obviously it is possible to solo it... if 2 dudes beat the VOG then this nightfall is lightwork for hardcore dudes

I'm not saying it can't be done down the road somewhere.
Maybe even in a few days, but right away? Nah.

i solo'd the first and second missions....the 3rd one, i got to the end, and when i thought it was over, i was forced to lean back by a crystal lol.....started that part over and died off some bullshyt.....at that point i said fukk it and got a cat from my friendslist to help finish that part...it was cool, i got they ass back when i had to do that bounty for eris....did that shyt on the low level (26) and put a foot in they ass...especially that fukking crystal.....that fukking crystal, smh.....

anyway: so far, this dlc is challenging and fun....had a ball last night doing the shyt for eris to unlock the nightfall/weekly....that fusion rifle is nice...think i'll be saying goodbye to my lightbewares.....it's been fun fellas *sheds a tear*....cant wait to get more new weapons....i'm really get it in starting tomorrow, i'm off till mon.....gotta unlock the weekly/nightfall for my other 2 characters....

lol ok...all my characters are at least 29, so i wont let you die....but i'm let you do most the heavy lifting to not ruin your experience with the game/story.....

also, tip to level up faster: stop doing the story for now, grab some bounties and do patrol missions instead....

shyt, you wont even be able to do the story missions with him. I forget what the level range is, but it wont let you do a mission with someone too high/low on your fireteam.
