Yes, I enjoyed the single player mode quite a bit in the alpha.

I like FPS like COD because I prefer the run & gun style of just killing people. BF requires more strategy than I care to give. But even the MP in Destiny seemed fairly balanced between a COD and a BF.

Im a huge halo fan... but from what i can gather the game is not streaamlined... its got more of an rpg feel to it... and you can move around building up ur character without necessarily having the best fps skills...

Im not a fan boy for anything... xbox, ps4 whatever... and i really do feel this could be The game for the first phase of this generation...

And they put 1 billion dollars into it... so obviously your gonna get your moneys worth.

i like this game, and i loathe FPS. the customization, scale, comradery, and RPG elements keep it from being just another shooter.

Word. Good stuff. Seeing some vids of it, I kinda like the theme of it a bit, despite me not liking Halo at all (and the homie Kodie says the game definitely wears its Halo influences on its sleeves) and not being too privy into space lore (unlike most ya'll nerds, Star Wars and Star Trek, while some movies were entertaining enough, don't even grace the covers of my top movies in the slightest). I was chatting with a homie who saw some of the alpha game over a friend's house and his further descriptions of the game along with what I've seen/know of it so far kinda reminds me of that recent Tom Cruise movie Oblivion, to which I thought was pretty decent. Lot of the gaming net seem hype off it though and as mentioned, it at least piqued my interest a bit, so I figure I'll at least test the waters on it.

Oblivion is a really good comparison.

The game really does have a MMO feel and not that of a FPS.
