I'm in the same position you are in, lvl 29 hunter just waiting to get the chest and boot raid gear.

yeah but the thing is... at one raid a week... MAYBE two... if you can get a literally top notch team together to beat the new non-cheese raid.... ur chances are still about 1/3 every week...

dont get me wrong i loved this game... and it was worth every penny best game of next gen so far... but its pretty much ran its course for me till expansion... the lack of any customizability in multiplayer pvp... no custom games for friends... no objective games... makes replayability at lvl 29 pretty small...

I think I'll start a Warlock when I hit 30

that's what i'm doing....my warlock is a 29 and i'm good...and cause of all the work i've put in with him, leveling up is a lot faster with new characters.....got my titan up to 16 after a couple days...gonna play with my hunter later this week, he's only at a 2...when they turn 20, they got plenty of gifts waiting for them provided by older brother warlock....

on a side note: playing with the new characters, and not being so high powered nor carrying the high pwered weapons, made me appreciate my warlock even more....did a 'defend the warmind' public event and got my ass handed to me lol....i held it down until help came, but damn, i kept dying and having to run back to the spot before the timer stopped...fukking knights and wizards man, smh....guess it's payback from the way i shyt on them lol....it's cool, i'm remember that, and when i get my titan weight up, that's they ass.....

What did you get from the postmaster for completing the public event? And did you complete the daily heroic story on level 28 to get 2 ascendent materials [or lvl 24 to get 1 ascendent material]?

I got the shard after the mission and a gun



Also got 2 shards from public events but I've done 6 and got nothing

I'm 26 I need shard bad cause everything is upgraded but I need 16 shards

Only thing I need is a legendary helmet I got an exotic chest piece and legendary boots and gauntlets.

All leveled up just need shards.

Also got 2 shards from public events but I've done 6 and got nothing You get 1 automatically for the day's Event. Anything else is sheer luck. Vanguard playlists feed me very good with these.

to add to what you said: leveling up your crucible/vanguard/faction gives you guaranteed shards in a way too @ThiefyPoo ...everytime you reach a new level, they give you a legendary mail thing at the postmaster...whatever you dont want, break down for shards....

lol yea i do sometimes...cause muthafukkas know i get busy....not only that, i share the wealth when it comes to grinding for materials cause i know where the prime spots are.....anyway, i know people think i just be ignoring or bullshytting them about playing, but that aint the case...unless i make plans, i'm a first come, first serve guy when it comes to playing...

damn, that sucks...i usually get something from every public event i gold star....either it's instant and/or they have it waiting at the postmaster....

yea, you get shards if you dismantle the armor...so whatever you dont want, dismantle that shyt....that's what i do....

the only thing you wont get is marks once you reach the limit, but you still get all the other shyt....so do vanguard tiger strikelist, you might get lucky...that's what i did for that 1 last strange coin i needed to buy that exotic helmet....but if you wanna wait, cool....

Game fire it's a love hate relationship


The grind is so frustrating at times then you might not even end up with shyt


You just keep coming back for more but that joy of leveling up your character is


The best thing after this game is running shyt with the homies .


What you know about running through a strike in 5 mins flawless


What you know about having to stand on the steps for the final boss on the Devils lair cause your guns and armor ain't enough


Gotta be a team player and stay alive cause all your gonna do is die thinking your bytch ass bullets with hurt these enemies


Game will humble you and make you feel like a super hero.
