Limited Edition. fukk it!!!! Lol!
If this beta cracks out to what it is I'mma hop ship to PS4 it's real obvious Bungie ain't giving no fukks about Microsoft anymore and this and sports game are the only reason I got a console
That's a good deal for that bundle...Breh, I'm dead serious. Just go ahead and cop
Yesterday, Bungie announced release date details about Destiny beta, it will be available for 8 Days for Playstation 4 and PS3 owners as compared to just Four Days for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. In addition to this, the studio also announced that Playstation platforms will also receive timed exclusive content for the expansion packs for at least a year i.e "A Deal Never Happened Before In Gaming Industry: Exclusive Content Within Exclusive Content That Too For Full One Year Time Period".
This news has upset Xbox fans and they are openly criticizing Activision for this type of exclusivity deal with Sony. Here is what exactly the deal between Sony and Activision means related to expansion pass:
"As an added bonus for PlayStation platforms, the Destiny Expansion pass will also include additional exclusive content for Expansion I and II that will remain exclusive until at least Fall of 2015."
Destiny Expansion pass costs about $34.99 on all platforms, yet as an Xbox One owner, you still get less 'new premium content' than the other platform for about a year. So, exclusive content within exclusive content which I think never happened before. Here's is the full List of Destiny Exclusive Content so far for Playstation 4 and Playstation 3:
•Exclusive Content in Expansion 1 and 2 of Destiny
•Exclusive Launch Day Content includes the Exodus Blue Competitive Multiplayer Map, Dust Palace Strike, Weapons, Ships and Gear
•Alpha Exclusive
•Additional Week of Beta Access
Here are views of Xbox fans on this not so good treatment they are receiving because of this exclusivity deal:
Twitter user Cortana:
"You know this whole exclusivity thing for Destiny wouldn't be so bad if PS4 & Xbox got different but equally cool content simultaneously."
"You know, day one sales mean worlds to publishers. You want to get your message to Bungie and Activision? Cancel your Xbox Destiny preorder."
Reddit user "justanothero" wrote the following message on treatment of Xbox 360/Xbox One owners:
If you don’t think this is a big f*** you to xbox one fans. Then i dont know what to tell you.NeoGaf user RoboPlato wrote:
PS got alpha and a longer beta, we get 1 day of downloading and 2 days of praying the servers don’t crash, aren’t too full, aren’t laggy. and clearly the 26th is the day they want to Stress test the servers. Having done several Betas including a couple bungie betas. I know how this goes. Too many people trying to download the game at once, too many people trying to log in/create at once. and then too many players on the servers at once. Some a$s hat figures out a glitch that crashes the servers/zones they gotta take it down to patch it. This is what beta testing is all about, and 3 days is not enough to properly test the coding of the game, it is however long enough to give players a taste of the game and say you were being fair to both systems by letting them in a beta test.
For some reason exclusive content related to DLC bothers me more than it does in the main game. For the main game it’s usually just some cosmetic stuff or BS thrown together for advertising purposes but in DLC it’s just a middle finger to players who are willing to give you more money than the base game costs. These are just few comments, there's lot more pouring in every seconds.
