I feel like this whole engram thing is one giant troll mechanic. Why would they add RNG on top of RNG when it comes to drops. So not only do I have get lucky and find a legendary engram, but I also have to get lucky AGAIN and hope that legendary engram drops a legendary AND THEN I gotta hope that legendary is of any use to me. nikka why?!?
Why not skip all that middle man bullshyt and just drop the item as is instead of trolling my ass thinking I just made a come up only to slap me in the face with

Nah to be honest its probably half troll and half keeping the legendary items significant. So when you do get them you're like
. I only have two legendary armors and no legendary weapons at all 
I just did that Venus mission where you kill that nikka at the end in that dark room. shyt was fire.
