Just did the weekly story mission by myself on the moon, pain in the fukking ass, took me 3 tries on that last wave, kept getting diced by a knight with a sword, finally beat it, no rewards...... But did get a legendary fusion rifle(as an blue engraved drop) that does right off the bat, 248 damage
I've finally got to put some time in the game and this shyt fun as hell....you can tell the subtle tweeks they've made since the beta, like making the ai tougher/harder....i'm only on the moon missions, cant wait to play/see more...which I gotta do cause I run across shyt in the crucible I aint seen yet...
speaking of which, you better have your weight up when you go to the crucible....I went in with my level 9, and running up on 20+ characters aint the business lol...I held my own, but i'll damned if they health don't be up there, especially those titans....anyway, so far I've only played control and clash...i'm digging the shyt outta clash aka team death match....that shyt is fun...I can see spending some seriously time on that, especially if you got a squad to run with....
...def gotta get to 20 by the end of the week...heard raids come next week...

Here's the bind I'm in brehs... This shyt obviously has a similar system like MMOs regarding experience points. The more people you have in a group (sans strikes and raids) the less experience you get since you're splitting kills.
The situation I'm in is... I had my higher level friends help me out in the story mode through Venus. Now I unlocked Mars, and I can't do a single damn mission because my level is too low. So now I'm pretty much stuck having to grind out patrols and such until I reach a good enough level. I can't even participate in strikes on Venus due to my level...

So.you tried to.cheat your way up then you found out your trash?
Why not do control or clash to get your levels up.
Or go back to those missions and get your shyt up.

That's what I'm about to do, just grind out a patrols, PvP, or do old ass missions to get up there.
And no, the Mars missions won't even unlock until you reach a higher level, so I'm just sitting there looking at the Mars map while in orbit while the dialogue on the screen says "level too low" when I try to click a level.

Y'all found any Exotic weapons yet? I got a exotic hand cannon that I gotta get 500 kills in the crucible using void damage to unlock it

it's easy to get a fireteam going, just hit R3 and then Invite or Join a random's fireteam
