I saw a DSP destiny ALPHA test and so far i have to say im not impressed. shyt looks just like halo. what the fukk is the story, and why am I searching these planets? what the hell is the character fighting for...

Solo campaigns are over. How many times must that be said?
To be honest I look forward to campaigns in games like halo, Killzone, this, or other fps games.

a fps without a campaign a 'la titanfall all you got is a generic fps, is that what the people want gtfoh with that nonsense!
imagine if gears or halo didnt have ANY type of backstory, why the fukk would i want to play a game like that? NARRATIVE is important thats partly a reason why titanfall was trash...
I haven't played a memorable campaign since Halo 2
I know we've said it many times, but the amount of polish on this shyt being an Alpha is incredible. I guess the original release date being in May had something to do with it, but this is rediculously polished.

I've got my game to hold me down along with BF4 (won't stop playing that shyt until BF5).

The PvP portion of the game is surprisingly fun. It's not exactly like halo but it has some influences from the last few halo games right down to the controls. The only thing I'd ask to change is there's too much aim assist, turning while sprinting is slower than normal aiming and a ledge grab mechanic. Oh and fire the in game announcer, he's so bored.
I can't wait for the next beta. I hope they don't put too much of the game in the beta. I'm gonna play this alpha until it's over tonight.

Halo 1 campaign was dope as well as 4's(though it had some annoying parts).
Dude...you trippin. I already have gleaned much from the little bits in the alpha. This game will have plenty of story. Its not really comparable to titanfall....If you don't like it..don't play it. The rest of us willthank you....

Isn't Titanfall COD with mechs?
I tried COD Ghost a while back, I tried some of the previous iterations MW2 and Black Ops. Destiny feels nothing like those games. I even prefer the shooting in Destiny than BF.
I think games ambitious like destiny needed a large story. That's what bungie should have focused on. all these gameplay mechanics and shooting and graphics. it becomes a dikk measuring contest. Most of the games we play we dont remember because it was forgetble but if you have a epic and solid story we will never forget it. I just hope these dev's focus on story as much as they do gameplay. dont be half assed. I said it before i seen the story trailer for Destiny and im just not impressed.
