What exactly is average about it? I dont wanna blindly cop this and be like when I finally play it

well i only played the beta so take what u will from that....but imo it felt like a generic fps shooter. I was expecting this big massive deep story considering its supposed to be a massive scale game...a game that would take many many hours to finish. It felt like a wave shooter thats co op...which is cool...but im bias towards story drive single player games. Somebody mentioned mass effect...i LOVED mass effect...it has rpg elements but its also very story driven..it MAKES me want to see whats next...destiny didnt make me feel that way. Destiny only seems deep in the aspect of customization and the co op portion/upgrades etc...but story wise it seems kind of empty to me.

I dont know man...i cant see myself playing this when new battlefields drops....even the new cod. It almost feels like the marketing of this game created the hype more so than the game. All the talk about how massive it is...and the co op..and the upgrades...it made you feel like its gonna be some epic story driven long game and i didnt get that feeling...we will see.
