I get the apprehension... but how can you say that the missions will be all like the ones we got in the beta... theres gonna be so much more shyt... its too early to be such a negative nancy...

Even if there are only 22 missions... that coupled with the multiplayer, and gear, customizability of leveling... is more content than you get with 95% of console games... so whats all the fuss about.

I don't think the amount of content is the problem so much as the way it's structured. Everything just seems disjointed, there's no real campaign and there's no real exploration.

At least that's the way it seems in the beta.

Where does this confirm only one explorable location for each planet?

Anyone ever notice that when you're viewing the map of old Russia there is a circle to the left with 3 smaller orb objects inside the circle that look like the Earth, and it looks like it has the rotate symbol indicating you can choose to pick a different map. Also, did anyone forget the rusted land map from the crucible? That map is NOT from Old Russia, but from the Eastern Flood Zone.

Look at the bottom it clearly says Eastern Flood Zone, Earth, confirming at least 2 different locations on Earth.

People are too quick to jump the gun.

Have we got any official word on the amount of missions? 22 seems super low considering they're like 15 minutes each.....

I feel like there has to be more to the story. They've barely touched on who or what the main antagonist in the story is. Why the humans have there back to the wall and where the traveler came from and what exactly the traveler is.

Either they really intend on stretching out this story or there is more than what reddit has found out

Can't blame them to bad for the content. This is the first game of the series and we are comparing it to other games that are the 2nd 3rd or even 4th where the devs have had a much longer time to build the world and content. Bungie was starting from scratch here so a lot of the work was just getting the engine running and tuning the moment to moment gameplay which is great.

They didn't do themselves any favors with all that "explore the stars" marketing shyt though.

Preorder not canceled, expectations just tempered, will hold me over good until Halo drops.:win:

But anyways yea people jump to conclusion so fast. The game was always intended to be an action shooter with RPG elements to give it more longevity.

Like I earlier, said the story isn't too engaging so far because they haven't introduced anything important at all about the story. This leads me to believe that the story will be much longer that Reddit makes it seem to be.

I like the multiplayer, but if you don't you have every right to do so. There are things that need to be fixed though. The interceptors (already been addressed by Bungie)

When you reload and you have a bullet left in the chamber, you shouldn't have to pull the lever to put a round in the chamber.

Auto-Rifles may be a little to good compared to other primary weapons. I basically saw all Shingen-C's during the beta, maybe they should have their range nerfed a tad? Well it's not that they're too good, it could be that they have the lowest learning curve to use effectively.

I don't know if anyone else had this, but when I used my throwing knife and hit someone, there was a slight delay before the damage would actually register.

The cover system and hit boxes need to be tweaked for AI enemies. There are times when you can't hit people with a sniper when they're behind but there head is exposed. I vividly remember this with the sniper on the Devil's Lair Strike that's to the right of the Devil Walker in the building.

I use the cydonia-ar3 over the shingen
