Not hating dont kill me brehs i loved the inclusion of all sorts of mutants but i felt like part 1 was more on beat with the jokes
Super duper cutjust started watching the super duper cut version. Why did they cut out all that lit violence in the beginning in the theatrical version
Super duper cut
It's the comedy aspect unfortunately that wears thin in general even if it is deadpool. I'd be all for an X-Force film with at least Cable/Deadpool ft Domino and Negasonic TWIt's a directors cut with like 15 minutes or so of extra scenes in the movie.
That's the version I got and didn't even know it....anyway, I'm in an odd place with this movie because I liked it more that the first one but the humor in this one only landed like 50% of the time for me. And I dunno....Deadpool is starting to wear on me. If they make more movies they need to add a gang of other characters like this one because he's better in small doses to me.
Honestly at this point I'd rather watch a Cable/Domino movie with Deadpool than the other way around.

Unfortunately he'd need more depth but we're talking about Deadpool he isn't him if he has thatMy suggestion would be just to develop the supporting characters around himVanessa is Hell cat give her that, develop Cable more and have us know more of his future. Domino has a bunch of potential and Negasonic should be more involvedExactly....I was just talking to my homeboy and I literally used the phrase "the humor is wearing thin."
I ain't tripping too much over it because there's still nothing else like it as far as comic movies go....and these movies are going to make bank regardless....but I won't like them as much unless they switch shyt up.
I see other people complaining about Cable was boring....he's supposed to be, he's the straight man to Deadpool's humor. I think the movie improved a lot when they teamed up and the scenes with Deadpool/Domino/Cable was some of my favorite.
I thought the last scene with Deadpool dying for like 5 minutes was dry as hell until they cut to Cable and he had the face because he was bored.

Exactly....I was just talking to my homeboy and I literally used the phrase "the humor is wearing thin."
I don't think that's a good excuse, I blame the overall vision and the thin script for him being so dull...Reynolds definitely doesnt want to be outshined, not saying that's the reason Cable was "boring" but he just kind of seemed like he's just there.I see other people complaining about Cable was boring....he's supposed to be, he's the straight man to Deadpool's humor.

Truth. I said it earlier in this thread that this was the Ryan Reynolds show and had free reign to jerk himself off the entire film.I feel you but I don't get people singling out Cable....that same criticism can be applied to literally everyone in the movie not named Deadpool. Dopinder has been in two movies and all we know is he drives a cab....bartender dude is well, bartender dude....Domino just shows up and says "I'm lucky" then proceeds to fukk shyt up....even Juggernaut could've been literally any other strong Marvel villain, they didn't go into any detail about who he is, how he got his powers, etc.
Having said all that I'd rather watch Cable, Domino, etc. than Deadpool making frat boy jokes for 2 hours. It's cool in small doses but they need better jokes if he's going to carry a 2 hour movie.
