The average wrestling fan doesn’t listen to podcasts or watch shoot interviews, and this was almost 20 years ago. Most people commenting on this were kids when this happened, so I doubt they knew the full story.

I didn’t even know that story about Flair harassing the flight attendant. Whenever I heard about that plane ride I only heard about the drinking and fighting.

Ehhh that's not an excuse considering that a lot of this information has been public knowledge and open to consumption over the years. People just chose to overlook it because they were enamored with Ric Flair and the concept behind his character. It's not like this information has been hid or suppressed. It's always been there.

Time isn't an excuse to justify not knowing how much of a scum Ric Flair is and has been.

Tommy Dreamer is a whole scumbag and it's not just because of him trying to cape for Ric. He thought it was wrong for one of the flight attendants to file a lawsuit saying they seek criminal charges knowing damn well it won't given that wrestlers have done worse and have gotten away with it.

Not surprised by Ric, Brock or Hall. It's also no surprised that Ric and Brock got away with it. We all know the stories about Ric and the stories of them drugging women.
