Oh, I don’t recall them talking about about LD’s father dying, but I don’t recall them explicitly acting like he’s alive either. Funk was a bigger character and the fact that they mentioned him twice this episode when they know the audience knows he died makes me think he’s gonna be a part of this season in some way. I kept thinking that while watching it the chipped tooth bit, the (fake) fruit running gag, the entirety of the charity dinner fukkery, this was such a loaded episode
