try robinhood. they allow trading of bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash, litecoin and dogecoin. it's the simplest way for you to get involved. buying and selling those 5 on robinhood is no different than buying a stock on robinhood.

I actually bought on coinbase. I spent a certain amount of money that i'd be comfortable losing and bought some Bitcoin, BitcoinCash and Litecoin. The bitcoin I bought pieces because it was so expensive. But the Litecoin I bought whole. Now I'm just gonna sit on it for the long term, see what happens. Besides doing that, are their any tips?

For someone who is completely ignorant to this, has some money around and wants to get involved what do I need to do? I see 1 bitcoin is equal to $6,754 USD. That's insane. Are there any other currencies I can invest in?

Edit: For example I went on over to: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalizations | CoinMarketCap and I see EOS is $8.00, would you recommend I buy some, and just sit on it in case the price rises?

Ether and Bitcoin are silver and gold respectively. Buy those whenever the market is in a dip, red, or when people are screaming FUD.

Will those who purchase Bitcoin when it was near $20,000 a coin ever see it reach that number again? What makes you say that?

Is it simply a matter of getting in at the right time, and then getting out at the right time?

man this market is bleeding heavily due to the SEC not allowing any BTC etf's. everything is down. I cashed out MOST of my positions over the last couple months. I put 25 dollars to get back into VET (VeChain Thor). I would not invest heavily and only invest in legit projects. IOTA is like 62 cents right now. the SEC wont revisit the decision until Sept 30th. with all the manipulation going on, scams, etc I highly doubt it will ever happen but who knows

Some of these prices are crazy..but then again maybe that's all a lot of them are really worth. Either way this gotta be somewhere near the bottom. Elastos is under $7
