Kinda wack that they aren't using Kalisto for this. We haven't really gotten a chance to see him shine in his style of match. Also thought it woulda been a cool way to bring La Sombra in.
Rooting for Rich Homie Swann...but I wouldn't be mad if Ibushi or Zack Sabre JR win. Hopefully this is really good and succesful. Cuz I think the potential in the future could make this ridiculous

Real talk,...
I really don't understand why these guys really don't work out and dedicate themselves to their actual aesthetics and look.
It only takes three days a week on some bullshyt.
Some of these dudes don't hit the gym or even have a personal set of weights.
I see the positives and negatives of the arguments made on the weight class.

The shyt is not hard and if you go through taking all those bumps and school.
You should be dedicated as fukk to do this cause you should know from research what time it is.
It really trips me out when I see guys with no aesthetics in this after watching for so long, off and on.

If you think ZSJ has no look now, you should have seen him a year or two ago.

WWE really wanted Will Ospreay for the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, but he signed a contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and was unavailable. It was said that WWE might have still tried to work out a deal with New Japan to get Ospreay in the tournament, but nothing materialized.

One of the more surprising names in the field of 32 names in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic is Gran Metalik, who competes as Mascara Dorada in CMLL.

Dorado is one of the promotion’s biggest stars, and he’s probably competing in the CWC without CMLL’s blessing, considering he’s not using that name. CMLL does allow talent to take indy dates, but it’s unclear what their position is on this.

It appears WWE has added indy star Mustafa Ali to the Cruiserweight Classic, as the Pakistani grappler’s profile has been added to the Cruiserweight Classic section of WWE.com.

We noted yesterday that WWE was bringing additional talent to Orlando as backup stars in case already announced names suffered injuries or did not pass required WWE medical testing.

It’s unknown at this time whether or not Ali is replacing an already announced name, and below is his WWE.com profile:

A veteran of the cruiserweight wars, Mustafa Ali will aim to bring his years of experience to Full Sail University in pursuit of the Cruiserweight Classic crown.

Ali is no stranger to stiff competition, having traveled all over the country for a decade-plus, squaring off with some of the toughest competition both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions have to offer. Will his multi-level experience help him float and sting to glory in the Cruiserweight Classic?

i kinda agree. They are both needed more than Kendrick and Tajiri.

I'm going to be disappointed if they bring Tajiri over & don't get him & Regal doing something though :francis:

It's been done already.

And who is this chick? is she in WWE now or been contacted?
