replicating the Cruiser Division, whether it be the forgotten Smackdown Minis division or the far underrated Super Astros lucha libre series, paled in comparison to what other entities were producing. When WCW finally fell, as all Empires eventually do, WWE absorbed the assets. Whether they used them all wisely or not will be debated to the end of time,

You weak, phoney fake ass motherfukk3rs...all of that burying. All of that slick $hit for years and now SUDDENLY you made a mistake? HAHAHAHAHAHA

This is so good when we haven't seen this style on a huge platform in the US in ages. Their world champ for 9 months was a cruiserweight under WWE and WCW metrics but he was unable to really let lose due to restrictions of standard WWE style. The term cruiser weight in 2016 just draws attention to other styles of wrestling and can keep fans tuned in. It also immediately creates anticipation and excitement, and this is an era where even the small men can be champs and main event.

I fixed your post because u made a typo that made it seem like you were not excited for the best thing WWE can do right now to make things interesting, showcase talent, and keep up with new trends (Lucha, ROH). We are all excited for this.

:ehh:

I like the idea of giving some smaller cats some shine

:patrice:if this ends up becoming the ceiling for smaller guys.
the truly great ones will find a way to rise above the division.

it will be a good launching tool for new stars also. consider it like the IC title, just a stepping stone for the smaller guys.

this was long overdue imo, i just worry that it will be mishandled like everything else.

This is so dumb when everyone is so small. Their world champ for 9 months was a cruiserweight under WWE and WCW metrics. Daniel Bryan was on TV a week ago saying he was 187 pounds. The term cruiserweight in 2016 just draws attention to how small everyone is, which is pretty dumb. It also immediately puts a limit on them, and this is an era where even the "big men" do dives and top rope moves every match.

It's strictly a marketing move. Don't read too much into it.
