The "kicks" posted here are so stupid for the most part anyway. It's really disappointing that fashion on this forum is limited to mass produced plastic crap held together with glue. Not only that but they're made with slave labor, marketed as premium and sold at an insane markup. Then to top everything off, the impression one makes with of these "kicks" is "I'm unemployed."
We need to do better.

nikka i just co signed you and this the thanks i get

Sorry, but whenever I'm wearing my J's I get hella scrutinized in public.
When I'm in a suit, or wearing some nice casual wear I get treated with HELLA respect and I get a lot of attention from the ladies. I walk into any establishment and they try their damnedest to make sure I'm happy to be there. Bums don't even harass me. They nod and say something like "I see you doing your thing, Black man." It's wonderful.
When I'm in Jordans... different story. I'll walk into a store asking to use the restroom and I get hit with the "EMPLOYEES ONLY!" nonsense. Girls are less receptive to my presence. People on the street look at me like I'm one of these knucklehead punk kids that walk around starting all sorts of trouble. It's not cool at all.

Young Black kids routinely ask me what I do for a living. Bums don't even harass me. They nod and say something like "I see you doing your thing, Black man." It's wonderful.
