Going back to 1997, there have been 3 Offensive Tackles taken #1 overall:

1997 - Orlando Pace
2008 - Jake Long
2013 - Eric Fisher

Unless you're getting Orlando Pace, I'm not sure the #1 pick is worth spending on a tackle. You'd better be sure you're looking at a multiple pro bowler and star.

I know people love to talk about shoring up the offensive line but you could probably do that later in the round.

Jacksonville has so many things to fix, why not trade down?

in the absence of a great QB prospect or even these edge rushers, the incentive to move up isn't there.

I was referring too out the gate. We were in the playoffs our second season.

I remember up until like 2001, I was shocked when we ever lost. Damn seeing that typed...that's 20 years ago. So we've been bad for almost 20 years lol. I think only 2 maybe 3 playoff appearances in 20 years.

But aye...that's what happens when you don't have a QB. We haven't had a QB since Brunell. Hopefully Yrevor changes this.

The most successful expansion team ever. Been having a bad time lately, some bad decisions, but we'll be alright. Free agency showed us players don't gaf about that "team sucks" shyt.

I guess we have to take Hutchinson, unless we can package that pick for a dynamic WR like Metcalf.

The Edge Rushers are not elite . Both Hutchinson and Thibs have disappeared in big situations and they’re only in the conversation because of the position they play . Also the difference between them and the next tier of Edge rushers ain’t that wide .


Kyle Hamilton may be the best player but he plays safety so he gets knocked for that .


Jags don’t need a lineman because they tagged theirs but I still picked Neal because he’s the best out of those options and may end up being the best lineman on their roster
