Read the terms at the beginning of the thread breh. :aicmon: There is thread for that in JBO. Plus, I put a thread on potential hemp cultivation in a congressional bill in Higher Learning, just this past weekend.

This is just about "regular" vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices. :yeshrug:

Post your yard pictures in here, and what ideas you have, so folk can see.

Keep it maintained and greener

Look like there is already a former garden in the back right corner??? I guess (again, I don't know diddly squat about gardening) depending on how much you think you want to grow...maybe just start in the already established corner first. :manny: At a certain point though, if you get good at it, a whole perimeter of vegetables by the fence would look :ooh:.

I agree with someone from your thread for your backyard...maybe some bushes :birdman:, near the cement area.

its yellow looking cuz its not getting fertilized and its burning from the sun.
only water it at night and sprinkle Scotts Super Turf Builder Lawn Fertilizer with Plus 2 Weed Control | Wayfair
all over the place.
then get some grass seeds for the patches in the lawn

For the 3rd time, I know nothing about gardening/lawn maintenance other than how to cut it. However, are there not some "natural" methods/fertilizers than can be used?? Always hear folks talking worms, worms, and more worms in terms of gardening. I'll try and find a link on this.

worms just mean you have a moist bed for the roots. no worms means your shyt sukks and wont grow anything.
you could put worms, but if it isnt moist theyre gonna burrow on to greener moist pastures..(no pun)
eggshells and coffee grinds also give nutrition for some reason.
everyone has their own things that work for them

I grow: tomatoes, strawberries, mint, and rosemary. I use to grow: squash, and zucchini. My neighbors have a lemon tree, and grow cherries that they share with my family when they are ripe.

1) After California (9th largest economy in the world) failed to pass....somehow :stopitslime:...... a referendum to label GMO foods, which would have accelerated other states and countries to do the same.

2) And Yes....OH YES........Whole foods does sell GMO foods among its products..."Whole Foods confirms it knowingly sells products containing Monsanto's genetically modified corn: Don't ask, don't tell!"

3) After we saw the evidence of rats with bulbous growths on their GMO eating bodies??? http://www.the-coli.com/locker-room/32471-genetically-modified-food.html#.UKJsGIfAd8E
