IMPORTANT UPDATE:
For the past couple days, I've been working on a Coli token redesign. After a constructive conversation involving my community members , I can lend credence to the idea of COLI being a bit vague upon first glance. "Children of the Lost Institution"—Ruminations on government control, class warfare machinations, ponderings on economic disparities, inherent disadvantages in the social complex towards minorities—all important themes, in my opinion. But I can understand why things like that might be hard to digest, especially when juxtaposed to other, more traditional meme coins that focus simply on price action & DEX projects.
I wanted to dive into all these rather dark themes over time, creating a section on the website called "Book of Coli", and break everything down. I sampled my thought process on the front page, speaking on how we can use this emerging digital market to build wealth for us and our families.
But I also understand there are better, more effective platforms out there to speak on such topics. For the most part, people in crypto understand and digest simplicity. And I can't ignore the fact that maybe if the theme of Coli were simpler, we'd attract more external interest.
I also can't ignore the apparent reality that Coli token didn't really have much to offer except existence itself. It's just there. And under such conditions, it's difficult to think of it as anything other than a get-rich-quick scheme. And it's easy to surmise such things when the token appears to have no apparent purpose. To that end, along with the redesign, I want to focus on attaching Coli to a project. Make it a part of something bigger. A decentralized exchange comes to mind. A wallet maybe. Charity work, perhaps. Something that substantiates why it exists.
It will be more simple. A greater, more straight-forward focus on the coliseum/gladiator theme. A more traditional meme coin.
