Du rag just compact hair.
A stocking cap dries, diffuses and makes your waves move true with no compact mat action like a du rag.

where can i buy a dream silky du rag.. target? cvs? walmart?

is jamaican black castor oil good to use? recommend anything else?

Are you black? You already got texture to your hair. Brushing your hair creates uniform curls patterns. And the pomades hold the hair in place. Don't need to use anything besides a brush and durag when you sleep.

Korean hair store, Walmart, CVS, the internet, Wal-greens, it's a lot of places just depends.

Use what you like but you don't need a bunch of hair products for waves. They're literally dudes who use nothing but water and brushing to get waves. It's the brushing that creates the curls the products just holds the hair in place and using to many can create a build up and have yo shyt looking dusty and flaky.

It's not about how many brush strokes you're over thinking it. Just pick out a time and make it a routine to brush your hair. Brush the way your hair grows from the crown.

How fast your hair grows determine how long you should wolf. But you do that to thicken you waves you already have if they're nonexistent I don't understand the point. It's like going on a bulk before you build any muscle in bodybuidling. If you hair grows thick and you wolf it out before you he start getting any waves people won't notice and you'll just be making harder to condition the hairs to wave. You're jumping the gun if you start wolfing now.



I'd started with the Murray's podmade but later switch to the Hollywood Beauty Olive Creme it was healther for me and didn't leave as much back up.

Oh I use to use these two as well but I stopped with the wave builder and contunied with the pink lotion and Olive Creme. Don't go crazy with products you honestly only need about 2 plus your regular shampoo.

Yeah mine used to look like that before I grew it out. That's mostly genetics. But knowing how your hair grows from the crown is the most important and can help. If your hair grows out at an angle from the crown to your sides than brush your sides at an angle if it grows straight on the side than brush the sides straight down. Brush your hair often and routinely too and sleep in your du rag. And if you lay down wear it. It's not the grease or the pomades that will make it like that unless you get like a perm or something. It's genetics but mind turned out liked that and my routine was simple and it also has to do with how thick you tell your barber to cut your hair. His waves would look smaller if he had cut his hair shorter.
