This is only going to get worse as time goes on. Not only in terms of natural disasters and wildlife dying, but it's going to hit agriculture and cause food shortages and famines.

I wonder if climate change deniers will ever take any responsibility for preventing the government from addressing this issue when we still had time.

Hell fukking no they wont. And by the time climate change become undeniable they just use it as a reason to justify their fascism. Once there is resource scarity and climate refugees start to migrate things will get very ugly.
