Pretty wild how much gambino has improved, he pretty much is doing the opposite of Drake, and im a Drake fan.
. At 1st Gambino reminded me of a nerdy black dude that didn't really get play from chicks or fit in too much, because...well he's a nerdy black guy. And his music reflected that, you can tell he has gone through growing pains of being striving to be himself, live up to what he feels his potential could be and being a black man in the USA. And while he still seems to have his up and downs it much less "FDB" type music.
Lyrically this some of his best up there with royalty, the production is pifffffffff man. It has shade's of Kanye imo. I also like how it doesn't just stick to being straight rapping 100% through the album even though he could have easily pulled that off and it been very entertaining. Gambino can't sing like good good, but well enough to where its more enjoy able than drake.... And on some tracks the vocals just fit well.
on second spin I'd give it a 4.5 outta 5 right now.
I really hope centipede is a bonus track on the deluxe (if the is one) That track is crack for me.... It really shouldn't be left off the album.

This album is really well put together. It kinda reminds me of a MF Doom joint in a way.
The only other album I feel that has been as well put together as this in the last few years is GKMC.
