I called Zach Wilson being a bust the minute I saw 1) he got into a scuffle at BYU and none of his teammates came to help, and 2) he looked visibility uncomfortable around black folk at an award show. Can spot it a mile away.

Same here with Caleb. You can easily spot that he is not a ‘regular’ breh. For his sake hopefully he’s talented enough for it not to matter. But it’s very obvious to spot

To me this is the real takeaway. The passing struggles come with the territory but the real issue is it don’t look like teammates fw him out there

I don't think it's about his lack of breh-ness, and more about him just not having enough awareness to realize his shortcomings and be a bit more humble. He is not the next Brady and his scouting reports likely showed a lot of the ways he could tighten up instead of using his skillset as a shield from criticism.

Watching Hard Knocks, he comes across like Russell Wilson...I get the vibe of a guy trying to play the role of a generic leader without the critical thinking that comes w/ being the actual leader.

During Hard Knocks, he is going into his first game and said he never gets nervous since high school which (indirectly) implies that he's unfazed by everything, including the NFL which just seems like Trump levels of ego. Texting the newly-signed punter (who you don't know) that he won't have to kick much is something that people will laugh at and swallow when you have the proven skillset to back it up, but when you fail to back it up, it starts to feel like karma and makes it easier for schadenfreude.

He is only 22 and lord knows I was fukking up back then too, so hopefully he is able to bounce back and become more grounded, quickly.

How are you supposed to focus or build team chemistry ,when your worried Caleb 'Sunshine" Williams might make a pass at you in the locker room or via text:gucci:?

Not saying he is or isnt, but he needs to make the announcement to his team if he isnt to clear the air.

Personally i think his mental may not be strong enough. Probably doesnt take criticism well. Probably blames othere when hes not doing well.

A lot of things are over analyzed but the way DJ Moore can't hide his :scust: after every miss is hilarious.

He had a career year with Fields and went to bat for him, he wasn't interested in these growing pains with a rookie in over his head.

Caleb is trying to play QB like he did at USC. He needs an offensive minded HC to basically reprogram him to get to an NFL level.

He looks skittish and scared in the pocket. Bears OL gave him enough time; if his first read wasn’t open he would scramble into a sack.

I'm just box score watching...

but it looks like he threw three touchdowns against 0 TOs with no run support...

to lose by three to the team with the best record in the league on Thanksgiving?
