It’s best for everyone if this is it for him. He’s killing their pockets for the least amount of work possible lol. They booked him great 2014-2015 is probably the most monster run ever in wwe history. He has been stale to me since after 31 which is three years. He has had some cool moments sure but he’s not the attraction he once was to me. He’s done everything and him having the belt for a year as a part timer :snoop:

It sucks. They haven’t had long term plans for Brock basically since his feud with taker in 2015 ended and it really hurts his presence. Think about what happened from 2015 to present day for him.

2014-15:

He’s got nuclear heat after ending the streak, so what do they do? His next match is against John Cena for the title and Cena has been getting go away heat from a large part of the fan base since Eddie was still alive. Then his next match is again vs Cena, it ends in a no contest when it looked like he’s about to lose and then we don’t see him on tv for 4 months straight and the belt goes with him. Still, he’s generally accepted as the top heel in the company, so what do they do? Brock wins clean in an absolutely spectacular triple threat match which I think was their best match in 2015, and they book the 2015 rumble match like they did. Next they have Roman stupidly put his title shot at stake against Bryan and beat him to go face Brock a month later when 100% of the crowd is against Roman. Brock gets the biggest cheers of the night at Wrestlemania, coins the term suplex city, and is crazy over as a face the night after. At this point you should probably turn him face, especially since he comes back a short while later against a heel Rollins and the crowd is red hot for him. Do they do that? Nope, he goes into his feud with taker in July where there isn’t a face or a heel. They have some good matches at least.

2016-17:

I think he was gone until the royal rumble once that was over and he has the match with Ambrose for reasons I can’t recall if there were any reasons at all and I guess he’s a heel again. Either way, they have a forgettable match and Brock trains for his ufc fight and comes back to face Randy at summerslam for basically no reason and there’s no long term build for either of them out of this match. Then there’s the Goldberg feud, his match with joe last year, the fatal 4 way, his match with Braun at no mercy, and his match at the royal rumble. Now here’s the big detail. In all of what I’ve just rehashed, I want you to tell me what it the most heelish thing that Brock has done to get heat. He’s clearly not been presented as a face since July 2015 so he has to be a heel, yet he’s done 2 things at the absolute most to get heat, which is shyt on Heath Slater (“I don’t give a shyt about your kids”) and smash open Randy’s forehead with his elbows. The most recent of these events was 19 months ago. He doesn’t cheat in his matches, Heyman cuts his promos for him so he isn’t bullying anyone, and he’s been facing heavyweight to super heavyweight wrestlers so he isn’t picking on guys considerably smaller than he is so he seems to be in fair fights. He’s not gonna have any heel heat going into this program out the gate and nobody can get heel heat on themselves in a program with Roman, so Brock ends up being a footnote in someone else’s story when he should be he main character. It’s a waste of his aura to book like this so there’s really no reason for him to be here if he’s gonna be booked this way.

Regardless of what you think of Brock as a performer or how good or bad his last couple of years have been, there's no question he wasn't worth his contract. I don't think I've ever seen a faker perception of a draw as big as Lesnar in this run :manny:

On second thought, they should let Lesnar leave with the title, it's an ugly title, it was a mistake to begin with, there's no history behind it.

Let Lesnar win, and leave with the title nobody wanted in the first place.

Nakamura can win the WWE title and bring it over to RAW with him and then Roman can beat Nakamura for the real title.
Vince's ego will NEVER allow this to happen :russ:

And what is Smackdown gonna get in return for the WWE Championship?
