They should of pushed back the home video release, that was way too soon. It would of definitely force more people to see it in theaters to cross that record. With it being available for home release there's no incentive to see it in theaters no more.
Yea, seeing it at 699.129 million lowkey ticks me off lol because what was a sure thing (700m) is now 50/50.
Trivial in the grand scheme of things perhaps but this is one of those milestones that will be there for a LONG time, so you want to sweeten the pot as much as possible

It would've cleared 700m easy if not for that premature decision.
It was still clearing 2 million a weekend the day the dvd dropped. Pretty much took 100s of thousands of ppl/movie buyers off the market for a DVD they would've ended up buying in masses anyway.

The fx is universally panned in this movie.
Given the detail in this movie, I'd be surprised if there was no real world location inspiration for Wakanda's topography.
A white man asking if anything is real is searching for reassurance Wakanda could not possibly exist.
