Paul Giamatti's acting is top level. Had me getting teary eyed when he had the outburst.

Bete Noire was a hit, I was annoyed af but I peeped some interesting things and figured things out fairly quick. Ending threw me for a loop though.

USS Callister Sequel was legit an adventure, no slow points - and the twists they introduced were plausible and heavy.

Hotel Reverie picked up steam half way through, but Issa Rae is as wooden as can be.

Plaything was boring and predictable.

Common People was good but predictable as well.

- Common People was a throwback, and hit all the right notes, tonally.
- Bête Noire went off the rails at the end, completely b*stardizing the narrative it created.
- Hotel Reverie is in the conversation for the worst BM episode ever made. Just horrific, in nearly every possible way.
- Plaything had a good concept, but its pacing and narrative missteps made it jarring to watch.
- Eulogy would've been one of the best BM episodes, except Paul Giamatti's peformance was masking the fact it was just an empty lost love story, with little plausibility and without any real gut-punch of emotion.
- USS Callister: Into Infinity was good for what it was, I just didn't particularly care for revisiting the story.

A forgettable season.

USS Callister finale was :russ: :ohhh::blessed:

They gave us a feature length movie and it hit all the right notes for me. I wonder if the show Severance was inspired by the O.G episode.

Episode 4 was decent. Cool concept, but I would have liked to see what the world looked like after the big reveal at the end of the episode.

Episode 4

I could see if the throng were building a society within the experience like the sea monkeys on South Park. They just multiplied and this episode just seems like some pretentious shyt.

Philly born. PG raised
Season was a nice return to form.

I feel like shyt is getting more eerie with the introduction of openly available AI tools. I feel like something like Eulogy ain’t THAT far off. GPT can already animate pictures and shyt.

I didn’t finish reverie. Couldn’t buy into Issa Ray. Still gotta watch the last episode too. But other than that I enjoyed the episodes.

Eulogy was the shining episode for me. Whenever they get into that sentimental bag, they don’t miss.
