They laid it on a little thick, but Jennifer rejecting her powers was good development for her character and I liked that they took it beyond the standard CW "You lied to me!" bullshyt by having her question things like if she could have kids or if anyone would ever want to be with her. She'll probably become Lightning at some point, but I'd rather it be a slow burn since, as this episode made clear, it's not in Jennifer's character to be a superhero at this point.

Yeah, I thought that part was somewhat realistic. She's still very young and it wouldn't make sense for her to be so gung-ho like Anissa. Plus it would be a big swing from Black Lightning reluctantly coming back to save the community, to having both his younger daughters fighting crime with him.

Gambi has all kinds of tech, weapons at his disposal :skip:

This evil company been kidnapping kids and keeping them on ice for decades :ohhh:

Tobias still grieving over his sister maybe :patrice:, definitely needs to come back for the finale.

Did they confirm this show is on the same Earth as Supergirl with that Supergirl reference? They mentioned Vixen too but I don't think another version of Supergirl exists on the same Earth as Arrow, Flash, Legends, etc.

The producers flat out said the show wasn't apart of the Arrowverse two months ago so I'm assuming they're just comic book characters. But they claimed Supergirl wasn't a part of the Arrowverse when it got shipped to the CW so I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they go back on the word again down the line.

I think that they're confirming that "A Supergirl" and "A Vixen" exists in this universe. But not whether they're physical people or just fictional characters.

However the pilot episode had a line in it like "why are white Metahumans called "Superheroes", but black Metahumans are called "Vigiliantes?" So, that confirms that the concept of Metahumans is real in this universe.

They did very good developing her character with everything that's she been dealing with over breaking up with her boyfriend, teased or bullied at school and sick of tired of being in the spotlight and just wanted to live normal only to find out she has powers making it impossible to be normal.

They claimed it is not part of the ArrowVerse, but neither Supergirl or Constantine originally wasn't part of the ArrowVerse either... so anything is possible.
