Looking at the events of the past few weeks have convinced me that this isn't true at all. I don't think most Democrats or Anti-Trumpers have wrapped their minds around what is coming, regardless of who wins the election. The response to Biden's victory by right-wing fascists will be an increase in stochastic terrorism, politically motivated mass shootings, and assassinations, the likes of which happened in Italy during the Years of Lead or Ireland during The Troubles. Police forces across the nation have shown themselves to be politically unaccountable and sympathetic to the right-wing forces. The right-wingers aren't upset at the prospect of Trump losing because it opens up the door for them to operate extrajudicially and with relative impunity. Both Sides Biden is too wedded to institutionalism to stop them.

America is cooked, man.

It don't matter what the result is there will be violence. If Biden wins there will be a major increase in right wing violence. Likely Years of Lead style violence. Bombings ,mass shootings, assassinations etc. The cult of Trump has reached a fever pitch. The Qanon shyt and Trumpism merging is creating a toxic mix that will be a disaster. If the election is close Trump will call it rigged and fight tooth and nail that it will make 2000 look like a pillow fight. Hell once he is out he will poison the well of the democratic process. Millions of heavily armed radical racist whites will never accept Biden as the president and go ape shyt when their leader is lost to the "deep state Dems."
If Trumps wins the electoral vote but lost the popular vote and there is proof foreign meddling and GOP cheating. I can see Belarus/Ukraine style protest in DC and other major cities across the country. Trump emboldened will tell his supporters to take their guns and crack down on the protest. And he will send his DHS goons to crackdown as well. shyt will get messy. In the end this is where we are at.

Emerson changed their methodology in 2019 and now their surveys are based on 50% automated calls to landlines, 50% online surveys using Amazon's MTurk service, which pays users a pittance to respond to surveys, translate articles, add tags to images on websites....etc. The quicker you finish, the more you get paid.

Nate Cohn repeatedly shyts on any poll that uses MTurk and I know Elliot Morris refuses to use any MTurk-based polls in his model.

I mean, look at the crosstabs in this poll and tell me how they add up to something that makes sense:

Biden +21 in suburban areas but -1 in cities.
