Alright, I'm done talking about this shyt. Anyway taking a Kanye candidacy seriously is trolling.
This. He's a professional attention whore and thankfully some in the media are seeing through this act right away. Until some actual legitimate polling comes out showing, if any, impact he has, people should be treating this like a stunt as opposed to taking him seriously.
Silent trump support may be higher than I thought..I had been dismissing that a bit. Question is will these people bother to vote
Couple things in regards to this:
1) Trump has not expanded his base or in 4 years has made much of an effort to expand it. He's playing the hits at his rallies and is doubling down on his dog-whistling currently
2) Biden is not universally loathed like Hillary. That alone should make up some of the ground in states Hillary lost that should have won
3) "Silent Trump Support" is a 2016 term. If there was silent support for Trump, then Dems would not have had the electoral gains in local and state-wide elections since Trump became President. There are probably some who keep their support quiet, but again, Trump has done more to scare away people who supported him than indoctrinate them into Trumpanzeeism.
