I get the double standard and it's wrong. I don't think the military was warranted in either situation. The difference is one is a protest and the other involves the functioning of our democracy.

I feel like if you were one of the people who were gassed and beat and snatched up by a white van, you will be more emotional and less rational about what’s happening. I really don’t want anybody to get hurt, but I know if some black protestors had bust in the capitol bullets would be spraying. That’s the truth and that disregard for the lives of people of color is what makes people even more angry.
