This might sound minor, but there was a particular moment that I realized just how big a shyt Cruz is.
It was during the Obama administration and the Energy Secretary is a famous nuclear physicist. We're talking PhD in theoretical physics from Stanford, the Chair of the Physics Department at MIT, and a negotiator in international nuclear agreements. He's testifying about something or other and it's Cruz's turn to question him. Cruz inexplicably claims that the PhD nuclear physicist doesn't know what an EMP device is. The nuclear physicist says no, you're full of shyt, I've never said that. Cruz tries to interrupt and run over his statement and just starts making shyt up that makes no sense at all. When the nuclear physicist tries to correct Cruz's bullshyt, Cruz just juelzes some more.
He literally tried to claim that he knew more about nukes than the nuclear physicist. I realized at that moment that if this idiot thought people would believe that, he would do and say absolutely anything.
