Did not expect this. He must have given up on running for President in 2024.

He was just reelected and ran unopposed. He doesn't have anything to worry about Trump-related until 2024 or 2026.

Lol, Scotland has been investigating his hotels for links to money laundering....sounds like he hasn't thought this through...

Trump continues to play Hungry Hungry Hippos while his supporters claim it's 7D chess.

I’ve always thought they’ll never arrest a former president no matter what

but seeing how desperate he is makes you think he believes he’s in a lot of trouble

Everyone can relate to that level of cynicism but he has pushed things so far it's unpatriotic and politically unwise not to make the rest of his life as shytty as possible. He is the most corrupt POTUS in history and not by a small amount.

He has presidential aspirations, so he needs the MAGA base in 2024 to win the GOP presidential primary. However, not objecting to the Electoral College certification makes him a "Deep State Traitor" in MAGAland. They'll bring it up against him if he runs in 4 years.

I highly doubt he's going to win the nomination in 2024. He doesn't have to worry about being primaried from the right and I doubt a Dem can win a statewide race there anytime soon. His job is secure for as long as he wants it.

He's safe in AR. I'm talking about the presidential level.

There was a lot of talk about the Democratic party and how they've dropped the ball of late even while having some big victories..

... but there is not enough talk about the GOP and how they've dropped the ball. Literally all they had to do was do the bare minimum in handling the pandemic and send a couple more checks out and they would maintain power over everything..

Now they've lost the presidency, might have lost the Senate and they got Trump out here clearly dividing the party and the people who made up his base are ready to jump ship from politics altogether because they believe the system is rigged and that the GOP other than Trump are useless to their cause...

Why aren't we discussing that at all? We've discussed plenty the Dem failures.. but the other part of this story is how fukked up the GOP is looking lol.

Dems are held to a different standard, so conservatives can always control the narrative. Republicans had multiple easy ways to pretend they aren't scum.
