Orthodox Jews voted for Trump in block as usual but probably at higher rates than normal, they're really on some other shyt with covid and see themselves as being persecuted.

As far as the Hispanics go I can see the men holding the same views as working class whites in the city.

puerto rican statehood concerns me because we don't need another 2 senate seats for the republicans.
I wondered that too but for the most part the Puerto Ricans I know lean democrat. I’ve met a few that go into the army and start hanging with cacs then automatically turn republican and :mjpls:

I guess it depends on the person’s personality.

I don't personally know any Puerto Ricans or Dominicans that voted for Trump :manny:

Y'all are talking about a difference of shyt like 87% and 83% ... lol

Surely there's other things better to discuss.

Nah, Puerto Rico would be a lean blue state (like New Hampshire or Maine) at first. However, if Republicans played their cards right they might turn it into a competitive/purple state down the road (Puerto Ricans on the island are more socially conservative than Stateside Puerto Ricans).

the hispanic shift to the repubs was massive in this election :yeshrug: your anecdotal evidence aside

everyone in here was predicting the dems picked up house seats and took the senate. we lost house seats and picked up 1 senate seat :dead:

im no strategist, but if i was id be pretty concerned

I honestly think a lot of these shifts aren’t permanent. I think Trump is an unique case in which he somehow had surprising levels of appeal with minorities. I doubt someone else like Cotton or Hawley could repeat his run. A lot of these ppl were Trump fans, not republicans.

A Trump 2024 run should scare ppl though, he could genuinely win if there is a recession during Biden’s term and no covid anchoring him down like this year (although he still kept it close despite). Kamala would be a layup for Trump if that was the race

Did they come out for the GOP or did they come out for Trump? I think we know the answer to that.. and this whole "Trump 2024" thing I'm just not gonna spend much time on right now :mjlol:
