I wouldn't be surprised. He was the senator who was asking for donations. Now I am not deep in Politics, but I assume that Lindsey gets the polls before they hit the papers like days before it happens. He never showed confidence, he just panicked. Normally I would say this is a not issue, but Lady G's behavior would seem very suspicious after his constant pleas for money.

Plus I believe in the polls that while Trump would win SC easily, he never had a effect with Lindsey's senate campaign, he was on his own.
