I read an LA times article last week that said he was basically smeared pretty badly - with misleading or downright false allegations - by a prominent local FB page that formed in the wake of local news cuts.

i don't know anything about him (never watched any of the oprah or hbo stuff they were talking about), but if some facebook page "news" is our future then we're really in trouble.
