I understand that. My argument is on principle. Same with AOC. Now is not the time to get on tv or social media spouting demands. It adds to the confusion and takes away focus from where it should be.

The DEMs only focus until December 8th should be asking, why is Trump trying to undermine the integrity of America's democracy by lying about voter fraud, and asking him for evidence.

The thing with TLR is it’s a hotbed of ignorance and hatred. Like these dudes really go hard against black women for no reason. Outside of HL, which is probably because we follow world events in real time, and The Film Room/Arcadium it feels like there's a massive disconnect on these other boards between consensus poster opinions and reality. This is especially magnified in TLR when a lot of posters are chasing daps/plats so they compete for the edgiest take. Its part of why I don't take this site too seriously. You really want them to set that standard? The news isn't educational, infrastructure, medical, etc. Who sets the standards for what is ok and not ok? You're stepping into orwelian policies. You're cutting off your hands to spite your nose. You won't destroy the GOP or Facebook at all. It's here for good. The best way to minimize the GOP reach and power is the Democrats to have a strong leader like McConnell who makes everyone fall in under the party umbrella. Democrats and progressives fight more to tear apart each other than to take down the GOP. The GOP only has to sit back and watch. That needs to change.
