All Ima say, is that removing the manufacturing economy for the service economy, is a death sentence for a 1st world country. Non union professions are doomed for lowered wages, even for skilled educated work.

Ehh, you can’t suppress wage growth and then manufacture things in high COL countries and expect people to pay top dollar. You also can’t protect the environment while maintaining mass manufacturing that produces cost effective goods.
If the whole green manufacturing takes off, we can bring back a lot of those jobs.


But what consumers want - low prices (which I don’t agree with, I’d rather pay more for a higher quality product that lasts longer as opposed to buying multiple cheap things, you end up paying more over time) - and the left wants - cleaner environment, high wages, unions, pensions - and what corporations want - more profit - none of those make manufacturing in the US attractive
