Y'all in here bytching about progessives again like it wasn't the Progressively run campaigns of Beto and Abrams in Texas and Georgia that have allowed Dems to make inroads in those states. If being a centrist was the end all be all HRC doesn't lose in 2016 with low voter turnout and House Dems don't bleed like they just did

:hhh::mjtf: You talk to any Bernie bro and they will call both those candidates neo liberal corporate dems. Well not today because they're cowardly fuccks but a couple months ago :stopitslime:

Luckily ppl outside of the progressive bubble far outnumber those within it and AOC will never be a “thing”.

Only progressive economics are popular among white working class voters; not progressive stances on social issues.

This is a tricky issue for the Dems to tackle.
Dems have shytty messaging, proven by them losing Florida while $15 an hour minimum wage passes. If they main focus was policies with firm stances on social issues mixed in it could be different

The Deep State
God, what an insufferable c*nt.

If she's so damn sure of herself, prove it - for one election cycle, move to one of these purple suburban districts, give her 20M dollars to spend freely on allll the online advertising she wants and let's see how she does. IF she makes it out of the primary, I guarantee you she'd lose by 5pts+ in 90% of the purple House districts in this country.
I keep saying this.

Red State DEMOCRATS are showing the game plan.

These NY/LA progressives need to spend 6 months in ATL, HOU, Birmingham, Montgomery, Charlotte, etc.

The SOUTH can seal the deal but AOC and these deep blue dems gotta humble themselves.

This shyt ain't the internet for us.

I just don't like that she's gonna cause more infighting with the Dem party. It makes us weak and allows the GOP to pick us a part. We've been dealing with this for the past decade.
They called her out though. She was just stating how some left and more centrist candidate did better by focusing on online campaigning.

Plus there will be infighting because they have different sets of policy ideals (big tent party). They tried primarying all the members of the squad and got beat. They added "members" while the Dems lost seats. There's only infighting because the current dem party is only concerned with maintaining their status of power instead of governing to maintain power.

The GOP does have it easier because they just want tax cuts and to maintain their racist base. The leadership of the dem need to find a way to maneuver between the ideologies because the country will continue to go left policy wise as was seen by some of the ballot measure voted on in the election.

AOC telling dems who have served for decades how to win is COMEDY.

How did her sage knowledge help Bernie? The dude who ran against Pelosi?

:lolbron:
Progressive Challengers Could Shatter a Washington Narrative on Tuesday

It helped all these people unseat establishment dems :umad:

Squad is 4-0 and added dozens to their ranks

Perhaps they should have talked about that more instead of making it 90% about Coronavirus.

But just because Cletus supports $15 minimum wage doesn't mean he's gonna vote for an AOC type.

Not necessarily. That's why you have centrists. The DEM party can't all be progressives or centrists, but they need to work together. This shyt should be kept behind closed doors.
