Yang beating around the bush here. Just say white folks and stop insulting my intelligence

the vast majority of the country is working class :dead:

you can't depend on riots to get your voter registration up - defend some unions, protect worker rights on a regular basis and you won't have to worry about 'convincing' people to vote every few years. they'll be ready and consistent. and he's right - huge dem strongholds have massive policing issues. so what is the democratic identity? this election its simply been "we're not trump"

fortunately, there's all kinds of ways to improve on that but the dnc has to actually want to do it.
I mean, I wish it wasn't the case but not much of anything is going to pass McConnell, much less a GOP Senate.

We already saw this with Obama. I'm all for holding Dems feet to the fire but they can't do something they literally incapable of doing.
Trump been slinging executive orders and making up shyt as he goes for 4 years now, but its all over for Joe already :stopitslime: the fact that Barr is on the way out is a massive shift in itself. An entirely new cabinet? No. Let this man play his whole hand before we start plea copping on his behalf.

Having an attitude like Yang would've costed Georgia. Dems need to start playing MORE into what they already have instead of stressing about something they may never get. This is why what Abrams has done is so important for future elections

I think its more indicative of the 50 state strategy being trash. Not a one size fits all thing.

Dems taking what works in one area and thinking its gonna slap everywhere is why their gun control message hardly goes anywhere
They have to appeal to a wider audience obviously. That comes down to messaging as well. But what Yang seems to be obsessed about is making white people happy by not focusing on social issues like racial inequality. Ok now you're hedging your bets on hopefully appealing to the "working class" (we know what this is code for) at the risk of losing big urban turnout. It's counterintuitive.

If Biden decided he wasn't gonna address the racial divide in this country, Biden is more likely to lose in these states where the urban turnout/disparity was greatly in his favor. Yeah Trump was gonna lose that vote but who knows if it would've been by this margin. You can put a focus on both, which I honestly think is what Biden did, instead of outright ignoring the other.

Maybe I'm hearing Yang wrong but I see other people are picking up on this.
You're not hearing wrong, but you're hearing it as a rejection of black people, which isn't necessarily the case. 18 percent of Black men and 8 percent of black women still voted trump. The goal should be to activate non-voters and make sure you tie these issues together. Biden did that. Not sure other dems could have.

@42 Monks has it right. And I would add not all black people are the same.

Trump had the Senate all four years. Biden doesn't now and probably won't in 2022.

I'm not copping pleas at all, I'm just being rational. McConnell is going to block anything of significance that's not an EO.

:sas1: Im seeing a lot of voters and pundits on Fox News feeling as though the election process needs to be overhauled due to fraud, and they are downright angry about it. I say they should hold out their vote until someone promises them some tangibles on this issue. :sas2:

Trump did *not* need the senate for every single thing he did :unimpressed: or even most of what he did
Cmon bruh. When middle class is mentioned in any context, they damn sure ain’t talking about Demetrius, Javier, or Ming
You can't argue financial divide one day then act like working class are the unreachable outlier the next. Again, the messaging is straight up bad there.

Start telling people to hold their own nuts, call them agents and post white hotep videos. That will get change for the election process!

I didn't want to get into any of that, I feel giving them any type of attention is a loss. But if black people don't recognize the trash that those foolish divisive wanna pro black influences are then we really are lost.
