Georgia is really surprising . As I said in another thread , GA hasn’t been presidential blue since the Peanut President . Would be an incredible flip . I gotta salute that if it happens . I appreciate this question.

It’s been a long standing plan to make inroads with Hispanics (fastest growing Demographic in America), and they thought certain plans would appeal to them. They don’t want DACA or a pathway for others to become citizens. They love socialism but just like whites don’t want it for blacks, the ones who have been here don’t want it for those who are just getting here.

Bernie isn’t the problem. Socialism is their dog whistle for “they want to help the poorer or unestablished ones too”. The problem is they won’t show up or if they do, they continue to vote in numbers to help Republicans because they think it’s the best path to assimilation. They don’t want legislation to appeal to them..... they want to be white.

It’s not just the Cubans. We all know Mexic00ns, Domic00ns, Ricanc00ns, and Central Americans who don’t care because they are here already. They want to be a part of mainstream culture while keeping their identity not realizing their flags will never be welcomed. The Asians had to decide if they would give up their culture for complete assimilation and they wouldn’t. They get mad when we discover our culture and then attempt to hijack it. Latinos are willing to let white people have their culture and still haven’t been welcomed. And Dems can’t rely on them as a whole to vote in numbers to win elections.

That’s how Beto lost against Rafael Cruz. That’s how Gillum and Nelson lost (besides the vote rigging that we will hear about in 10-20 years). It’s time to let them get their real wake-up call.

I feel like Bernie would have been just as close a battle with Trump considering the states that Biden won, but it would have been all out slaughter in the south. At least Biden had a fighting chance in TX and FL.

Yep, for many latinos they are in a race to assimilate and they see the quickest path as shytting on everyone non-white.
