So we agreed that Dem moving center-right is dead? :lupe:
I don't think they moved to the right that much in actuality. They just want to avoid the socialist tag.
yea, i don't trust gen z, their dependence on technology for social interaction over human interaction is going to be some whole other weird shyt for the country. i've heard they're more individualistic, and this makes sense between lack of in-person socializing and being part of smaller families. we'll see, but i can see that generation being more libertarian or laissez faire than either dem or republican
I don't know many people that young. :flabbynsick:

From what I see on the internet, Gen Z has a major identity crisis. That makes them prone to radicalization. There's also some resentment towards the mainstream media and their agendas.

Millenials came up during the time that Jon Stewart and Colbert had their feet on conservatives necks
Exactly.

Also, out generation was sent to go die in Afghanistan and Iraq. We were the main fighting force in this country's 2 longest running wars. We got leg into Iraq based on a lie by a Republican President and we didn't forget that shyt.

No one thought it was gonna be like this and as far as the Senate and the House nah, foh. You lose House seats and don't pick up much in the Senate after this shyt?
Nah. These are excuses for the Democratic party.
If you relied heavily on national polling then yes you were fooled. Biden said that the internal polling showed that it was a lot closer than what was being reported. You also have to take in account that a lot of the states with Senate Races were states that were in the margin of error for Biden. It would be incredibly naive to think that with that information that it would landslide for Dems across the board.

Trump lost this election. Biden didn’t win it. That sounds trite but it’s not wrong.

“russ did you guys lose this game or did the jazz win ?”

Even if Trump doesn't run in 2024 (I don't think he will) I think @Losttribe still has right to be concerned because whoever is running is likely going to run on his brand of right wing populism, and it cold be even worse because we all got lucky that Trump was an ineffective in office as he was. The next person could actually be worse just by virtue of not being narcissistic and burning every bridge with every potential ally. Trump has damaged out nation but he could've actually been worse.
This is my point.. in case they missed it.
The person in 2024 will win and will be MUCH worse. And wont do any hbcu or first step act nikka trinkets... they will prove that trump was a white supremacist false flagger

for president, absolutely. these people have been given a right wing president who is unadulterated cacery and they love it. no way to pull enough to your side because of "respectability" and a return to "normalcy". the main people wanting to return to normal are soft, low information democrats who are not used to having to watch the news and think about policy as much as they have had to during these past 4 years. it isnt really right leaning people whining about normalcy. right wing people sense changing demographics are taking their power and they want a strong policy to save them. that includes a new great wall of china, banning muslims from coming over, the ability to wave guns at unfamiliar people in the neighborhood, etc.

we have to charge that vote to the game

Trump being extremely irresponsible and campaigning like he would in a normal year (while Biden did not) was massively beneficial to him. I think I mentioned earlier that Coronavirus didn't influence swing voters as much as people thought.

He basically got every vote from last time, plus some new ones

"People are out of their minds if they think a Black man with a muslim sounding middle name has a chance at winning a general election"

AOC does not have the juice like that. We have to stop using Obama as the example. He was a once in a generation anomaly.

AOC is not winning a 2024 general election. Kamala doesn’t have a chance in hell either
