You need a constitutional amendment to do that. You need 2/3rds of congress and 2/3 which is unrealistic in this partisan climate or 2/3rds of state legislature which is dominated by republicans. The electoral college ain't going away any time soon.

Dems might want to make this a talking point going forward. Tell the people what is needed for this to happen. Its almost impossible but you gotta dream big. We made it out of slavery bruh, anything is possible if we get off of these moderate train tracks.

Yes and no,

Black ppl still vote Dem by wide majority.

But the same man that bashed Kaepernick, supported nation wide "stop-n-frisk", warned suburbs that Biden was going to build project buildings next to their homes, bashed BLM as a terrorist group, and an array of other racist comments and statements actually GAINED more black voters.

So Dems need to make serious inroads to get them back into the fold as well.
