I disagree with the takes that Kamala was a bad choice. It's looking like black turnout in Detroit, Philly and Milwaukee will save Biden. I think the combo of Biden being popular with black voters and a black VP was the best choice this election cycle.

Dems need to do more astro turfing, yes.

But honestly, the lack of a central charismatic figure who has a narrow achievable vision of how to improve the American experience is severely lacking.

I've said it before, but most Americans are happy with their lives and don't see the need for wholesale systemic changes even if they would benefit.

Pick something you want to change, show how that central idea will make Americans lives better, and sale the fukk out of it and don't get stuck on tangents.

Trump's platform is basically everything is America is fine and it's the outsiders that hold us back.

I don’t think she lost him votes, but she didn’t gain him votes either. I was telling people in the VP debate thread that she doesn’t move the needle for the majority of Black people, and she have zero appeal in the Midwest. She only really poplar among Black Twitter, and the establishment media. Big Gretch, and Ayanna Pressley were better choices.

With that said I still expect Biden to win. However, he won’t be able to do much besides Executive Orders because it looks like the GOP will keep the senate.
