The best case projections haven’t materialized but when was the Senate ever a silver bullet? Can only recall talk of that starting in past few months.

If I told you Biden would win back the Rust Belt plus Georgia and Arizona, the day after he won the Dem primary, how many would be happy with that result?

I want to have a mature convo about this.

I think Bernie did more damage to the democrats and an already fragile coalition by raising people's expectations to irrational lengths such that we can never pull together enough decisive support to get across the finish line.

Trump was always going to get out the dying embers of white supremacy.

Hispanic voters were always fair weather allies.

But what Bernie did in effectively decreasing turnout for democrats and labeling them as the enemy has arguable done more to fracture what Bill Clinton did with his 3rd way politics than anything Trump could have.

In fact, Bernie is the root of a lot of anti-Obama sentiment.
