The real issue in all of this is Biden seeking out Republican voters and campaigning that way and allowing Trump to peel off black and Hispanic voters. People gotta acknowledge how shytty his outreach has been to both demographics. That's disgusting. Still think he's gonna get the victory.

If pro amnesty Biden lost support from Mexicans to racist, nationalist Trump then I don't know what to say about that.

There is clearly no easy solution in this bizarro world we now live in

That being said, I do think Mexicans helped with the AZ win and coming closer to winning in Texas.

Growing up in school I was always taught that as countries grow, they become more progressive, secular, scientific based, diversity, and inclusive. America is headed in the opposite direction. I thought 2016 was a mishap that would be corrected. We all thought with record breaking turnout, that would mean the nation is ready to get back on track, and set the world standard. This country is slowing eating itself. Anti-Intellectualism has taken over. These past 4 years I haven't been proud to be in America. Even if Biden manages to pull it off, this is a bad referendum.
i agree with your post except for this. as a black american, there was always a level of disconnect i've had with this country and a feeling of it's not for me nor does it reflect me, and the forces propelling trump are the forces that have oppressed me, my people and my ancestors - this doesn't make me feel less proud of this country as this is the country i've always known/expected.
