Biden wasn't the best candidate, I agree. Bernie would have gotten owned. The "socialist" label would have stuck. He couldn't get people to vote for him in the primary, how would he have won a general?

This is true, but keep in mind Republicans used to be the party of amnesty. Reagan gave amnesty to 11mil.
