You guys need to forget about the south already.

Nah, NC had some sh!t polling companies with R bias muck up the avg in the last few days. Trafalgar, Rasmussen, and Insider Advantage got Trump winning with some crazy cross tabs. InsiderAdvantage got Trump winning 24% black people and 22% Democrats. Thats not happening at all. Like at all.

I disagree the Republican Party hasn’t said anything bad about Trump up until now because the Republican base loves Trump. Bill Kristol admitted that the GOP has placated this base since the Reagan days. However hate radio, and Fox News radicalized the base. The GOP elites lost control of the party and this all started after Bush jr tried to get immigration reform in his second term and the base damn near revolted and killed that bill. When Obama won this further radicalized the base. McCain had to make Palin his VP to try to placating the Republican racist base. Romney did the same with Paul Ryan who was the hero of the tea party. The base never liked McCain or Romney. They loved Trump and he won in 2016. So for them this gives them justification that going far right is the key to victory. Even though Trump’s victory was a fluke. The GOP rode on the white supremacist tiger and now the tiger is devouring them.

Once Trump loses the base will blame the Lincoln Project Republicans and the GOP is going even more far right with the Qanon bullshyt. When Dems are in power the GOP usually goes even further right. They dwell on being the insurgent party. The next Republican primaries are gonna be a blood bath. But the base are the real kingmakers. The GOP aren’t gonna expand the tent they will double down in voter suppression unless Dems win consecutive elections to maintain the trifecta.

The base hates McCain, Romney, and Ryan now but honestly I don't think that was the case when they were actually running. They hate these guys now because the right wing talking heads like Tucker shyt on them.

Vote all the damn time. No more complacency,I want to go left heavy.
I'm voting in every election that I can.

I can't speak for other young people but I do think that Trump has made a lot more young people engaged in voting.

Also, young people not in voting in higher rates is not a new phenomenon. This has always been the case.

It wasn't the case at all, especially with Paul Ryan who was the GOP golden child until trump. Repubs begged Paul Ryan to be the GOP house leader when he didn't want that post after Boehner.

They've always complained about the "Liberal Media". It just wasn't overt or loud. They farmed that out to the talk show hosts.

Nothing Trump is doing or saying is new. They just used a dog whistle instead of a bullhorn. That's why I laugh when I see some of these Lincoln Project types acting holier than though.

He made non-interventionism and protectionism popular on the right though

Sadly that isn't enough of a difference for a lot of people for whatever reason, I see it here everyday and don't even get me started about tlr

Hillary also had a very progressive platform but it wasn't enough, people wanted Trump and Sessions and the rest of the criminals, racists, and kleptocrats

There was a thread here recently that some of you may have been aware of where people were calling Barr a Gawd and praising the lawlessness of this administration.

If Trump and this administration cared about black people they had 4 years to do something about it but they haven't. If anything they've targeted black people legally and extrajudicially with the intent to make life worse for us.

Carville basically saying it’s going to be a blowout

Again he claims we'll know by 10PM. I just don't buy that. Now to be fair, as we have discussed by 10PM (or 11PM) we will know who won NC/FL/GA. Biden winning one of them probably means he will be president. Biden winning two means it's (more than likely) game over. Biden winning three means it's definitely game over. On the flip side if Trump wins all three, Biden is still the favorite but it would mean that Trump has a clear path to a conceivable victory.

So sure technically Carville is right given the three states we're gonna get...but it also depends on who wins the states, and how many are won by each candidate.
