Our hospital is owned by university of Florida the ER docs work for TeamHealth which is a physician outsourcing company. It is owned by blackstone group which is a private equity firm.

This is one major criticism of M4A. It doesn’t address the hospitals who are plotting this stuff.

Hospitals should be community goods and nationalized, but at the minimum need more regulations.
